supporting AP Cost Consultants with the Project Management Role at Radford House
Lockwood Building projects have gone into partnership with Standard Heritage Ltd to work on this project. We are jointly supporting AP Cost Consultants with the Project Management Role at Radford House. We have pooled our expertise to deliver this project on behalf of the building owner, Ramsgate Town Council. They acquired the building in 2018 and are now able to make an investment to bring the building back in to use.

Our role in this project is to support the rest of the team by writing the business and community engagement plans.
We are doing this alongside the work of the rest of the team that are working up budgets and assessing the heritage needs of this listed building.
This will ultimately lead to a design brief and schedule of works for a contractor to take forward. We are aiming to secure the long-term future of the building by creating a viable plan. This will sit in harmony with securing the heritage of the building for future generations to enjoy. We are proposing that the building be made safe for ‘Meanwhile use’ at the earliest opportunity. We can then use it to run a series of meanwhile events that we can evaluate and form the strategy for the best use of the building.
We are using expertise gained from the projects in Luton and previous experience of working on the huge public engagement programme at Centre of the Cell.
